Some recent shots from the Wisconsin lake cabin

Had a great, relaxing time with the family in Wisconsin last week. Spent a lot of time behind the lens. Here are some of what I've processed so far. All 20D/10-22 except the IR (kit lens). C&C more than welcome.

A great storm rolled through on Wednesday - I've never seen clouds like this before.

Several things jumped into my mind when I opened this up.

Those clouds are fantastic! The fist two images seem a little flat. Probably because of the light at the time. Love the IR. The cabins I have been familiar with didn't have 6 chairs total, inside or out, much less 6 laptops.

Ha, good thing I didn't post the original pics then. Dynamic range was a mess. I struggled last night trying to balance the detail with improved contrast.

Interesting clouds in the first two, but looks like really tough light to shoot in. I really like the IR.

Thanks guys - I almost forgot I had the IR filter until the last full day we were there. Glad I was able to get something out of it.

Those are some scary lookin' clouds. Did you get a good storm out of them?

Quite a bit of rain, but nothing else. Relaxing? Yes, very.
