Neat shot. I know what you mean about reach. What's that saying? You always need 100mm more than your current lens?

You will always seem to wish for more reach and then the tide will turn and the bird will want to sit on the end of your mega telephoto prime lens!

Nice capture, maybe just a tad lighter?

That sounds about right. 400mm equivalent and it's still not close enough.

Thanks Bob. Shooting wildlife is so different from my normal landscape type shots. Landscapes don't move.

Thanks Gale. I was actually a bit north of Wa. The pilings were along this beach.

Great shot!
I've been watching a local eagle family for a couple of years and rarely see interaction between the adults and the juveniles once the young leave the nest. Very well done!
