First pics submitted here and first time shooting a gig (well I loved the band, I had a camera so here it goes !)... Taking handheld pics in the middle of the audience (who said "mental" ?) with the few light available was a real challenge... Luckily I was close enough to the stage. I also found out the pleasure of B&W conversion in pp which brings to light a lot of details lost in the original pic.

As for the band : it's a little known french rock band named Luke and they performed damn well !

Here are my fav shots of the gig. Any c&c welcome !

    Thanks for the comment !

I'm afraid the 2nd shot came out that way during the conversion : some E-500 noise and a foggy stage basically gave that texture (a bit enhanced in pp).

I like them all! Bit of flare in #3. #4 is really cool too.

I like them, too. The first two illustrate that you don't need 100% sharpness to get a great pic -- the noise and blur add to the feel!

In the third, did you pump the blue up in the background? I'm thinking it looks a little overdone for my taste, but maybe it's "as shot", lol...

Well the light was really blue in the 3rd one and the fog diffused it a lot, so I didn't make a lot of pp on this one. Multiple colored lights may be a bit disturbing to adjust a correct white balance :D I got a few more pics in that blue light.
