Travling to TPA in 3 weeks. Staying near the airport. Any locations around town that I just NEED to visit?

    Fort Desoto at sunrise is really good for bird photos, especially if it is low tide. You can get some photos of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. You can access the park at any time, though there are some tolls before the park. Around pavilion 5 there is a tide pool that usually attracts some reddish egrets and some white morph reddish egrets.

    If you are looking for osprey, then Honeymoon Island's Osprey Trail is pretty good. There are tons of nests. Early in the morning, you can usually get some osprey returning to their nests with fish.
