The Bolicks, and their previous family generations, have had a pottery and clay operation in this small mountain burg for about 125 years. Glen Bolick, the current patriarch of the family, spent quite some time with me....telling some fascinating stories of days gone by.
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
