I like this shot, because it is so candid.
Afghan's love having their photo taken, and go nuts if they are given a copy.
Some, however, do NOT like their photo's taken, for security reasons.
Most locals do not know their age, and the ones that do, appear a lot older than they say. They live a hard life.

The forground is really distracting. Maybe do a crop to take off some of the blackness and water bottles?

don't mind him being framed by objects, but a crop of the blur on the bottom 1/3 may help.

Interesting image. I agree with the other posters about cropping. Another reason to do so is to get rid of another distraction . . . the guy lurking behind the soda bottles.

How are Afghans with having their picture taken while eating? If I tried doing that to my wife, I'd get clocked! ;-)

I probably got a bit savage with the crop, but I like it.

The Afghans that don't mind their photo being taken, don't care whether they are eating or not, particularly if they don't know .
