I'm not sure exactly if I'm meeting the requirements. Both pictures use filters of some sort and are in the time period. I wonder which one appeals more to people though.

The "no frames" rule pretty much excludes #2.
#3 is not so much fillter as a pure ps/design work (albeit very nice:-)
so that leaves your current entry, i.e. #1
