Went to the butterfly pavillion event held at the Los Angeles Natural History museum. Here are a few keepers. I tried something different and went for slower shutter speeds.

Nice Tim. Good color. I really like the first and last, especially the last. It's very well composed and the focus is right on that big compound eye!

    Nice shots. thumb.gif

I would try reducing the saturation and contrast a bit. Just my personal preference. :D

Thanks. It is my favorite of the group. I was tracking that guy for awhile. The kids seemed to have ravaged all the wings by the time I got there. rolleyes1.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Hi Tim,

The first butterfly is quite pretty .... Chocolate comes to mind when I look at it rolleyes1.gif

Last shot is interesting, the wings appear to be damaged at the top,
I like the motion of the wing, this shot has also the best light. thumb.gif
