Looks like maybe it was an old horse barn to have a cistern so close by. May be wrong tho.

    Very good photo thumb.gif

    Hi Craig,

You nailed this one very well. It's a simple picture that speaks volumes. I really like it.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hi Craig, the place looks pretty old, is it just the angle you took this on,
or are the two joined together? the roof of the Barn is on the top of they cistern?

    Interesting shot thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

It's incredibly minimalistic. Really draws your focuson the shape of the cistern and the texture of the roof. IR Masterpiece again!

I really like the colors, especially the sky. What kind of IR filter do you use , or are you using an IR converted camera?

I want to get an IR filter but i cant afford the tripod needed for those 5-15 seconds exposures needed at the momentrolleyes1.gif. i am either picking up a hoya or an opteka r-72 filter, both got good reviews on amazon.

if you want more info on IR here are some good places to start:

    Dan,
I've got one for my XTi, so I'm sure you can use it... I haven't quite figured out what settings are the best and from what I understand our Canon's have a stronger IR filter over the sensor than most so we need to use an even longer exposure, but I'm still trying to figure out apeture and what not to go with it...

    Howdy Azzaro,

Thanks very much, I think it may have caught the rainwater off the barn and was used to water the stock.
