Sleeping Deer
I caught two deer sleeping in our backyard today while working in my room. I managed to sneek outside and lay down in the grass and grab some shots. Had to use a high ISO and slow shutter speed since it was very dark and about to rain. In fact it was thundering while I was taking these shots.

Ya know I just heard a report today about lyme disease is on the rise and they believe that fact to be related to the rise in deer population...

ahahaha I had thought the same thing too! Later, when it was raining, the two of them and their mother were running around a lot.
Yeah, the front one definately perked up when I started taking a lot of pictures. When I got up, they dashed off.
Really love the first one.... I love B&W... Photoshoped infrared?

Thanks, and nope! Just turned the saturation all the way down.
#2 reminds me of when we lived in Monroe, NY. The deer would spend the night off the side of the house overlooking the fenced back yard. When our Elkhounds were put out around 11:00 all the deer would do is lift their heads and watch. I guess they understood how the fence worked.
Thanks,
Jim
