There is a young boy in my town struggling with cancer. He has been fighting for several years and this one seems to be the toughest. The community has stepped up and ran several fund raisers to help the family out.

As part of my contributions to this young man I threw a challenge out that if people could raise $6K they could shave my head. It took a few different fundraisers but they are currently sitting at $8500 with atleast one more event scheduled for August. :lust

It has been 11 years since my hair was this short- back in the Army days.

This was just a little extra to help spur a little excitement on top of a fine art print- photo sessions- and other items I was able to get for a raffle to benefit this young boy. Several businesses and hundreds of citizens have stepped up to help.

I feel honored to be able to help in any way.
