Where are you from? I am in Louisiana also....Baton Rouge. Welcome to DGrin!
As for the photo, the size posted doesn't fit all at once on my laptop screen and forces me to scroll so I cant really...see it...ya know?...in its entirety.
I think it is a gorgeous shot.
For the top of the image I would crop down until the sky disappeared and the same for her right side leaving just the building as a background. She could have used a little more light in her great eyes, but it's not bad.

Not sure I like the campus quite so upset, and maybe the palette is a little limited, but I do love the treatment of the subject - skin and hair are superb. I might have preferred just a little more definition in eyes and teeth.
What I REALLY like about this shot is the frankness of the gaze, there is no sense of a "face" having been put on for the occasion, no cutesiness, no flirtatious hide-and-seek of boobs and thighs.
Maybe the neck is twisted too much for comfort, and the shoulders hunched?
This is a very nice shot! I'm suprised by the some of the criticism.
I would change one thing for sure. I would crop from the left until the sky disappears, i.e. where the roof line and steeple wall meet and I would crop from the top until the sky disappears. This will require losing some of her hair but that is fine. This will also move her eyes into the upper left third.
I would also try to selectively sharpen her eyes and lips but I wouldn't twiddle all day with it and if I didn't like even for a second I would leave it as is. It has a beautiful soft, romantic feeling.
