Yup, the dirty guys of anyone's home or garden. Mind you, they stayed still for long enough.
I'm still very new to Macro photography and not a patch of Goldenorf's:) but I'm pleased with the results.
Subjects were shot with the Sigma 105 EX DG
This little guy was about 5mm in length

Not sure if these are bright sun shots (if so try dialing in -2/3 EC into the camera) or non diffused flash shots (if so try getting some sort of diffuser on the flash and perhaps use a bit of -ve FEC). Lots of hints and tips here http://www.flickr.com/groups/topic/66514/.
