Not sure what type of flower, it was shot up at Hatcher Pass this last weekend. It is a really tiny flower. If anyone can ID it for me, that would be great. Thanks for looking!

I asked for a little help from Daniel Mosquin over at www.ubcbotanicalgarden.org/potd. He just got back from a trip through Canada and AK and had some great flower shots posted there. Anyway, he said it looks like a split-lip hempnettle, or Galeopsis bifida. Definitely sounds dangerous! Here's a link he sent to other hempnettle shots, if you want to verify:
    http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=galeopsis%20bifida&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

Great shot, though - and I'm a big fan of the pika photos! Definitely incentive to pack my digi SLR in my hiking pack and not just my little point and shooter!

Looks like a type of orchard maybe? love the fine hairs at the top of it.

Hope someone is able to help you out with a name.
