Does anyone know when Canon started producing the MKII? Or the dates of the older MKI?

Great link! But when was this 50mm f/1.0 for sale in the states? For a price of $4,000 I don't believe many were sold.

When they were last sold as new at B+H I believe they were going for $2500. I wish I had the money to buy and hold a bunch and keep them in NIB condition. They would be worth a lot today, same with the 200/1.8, they sold for $3200 new I believe, NIB would be worth a lot today.
