My girlfriend and I headed out to a plaza to see an artificial waterfall last night but found that the waterfall was shut down. So we moved around and grabbed a few photos. I gave my D70 with a Nikon 50 1.4 to my girlfriend, and I kept my D300 with either a Sigma 10-20 or a Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR. On the plaza there were about a dozen, maybe more, photographers. They all had printers and digital cameras and would take pictures of people in front of the scenic areas, print them off, and make a buck. (Actually, I have no idea what they made.) There were a lot of them, and I'm sure business was poor. They all had fairly bright lights to show off their sample photos. Some of them were a bit surprised to be on he other end of the camera for a change.

    Well done!
Great idea for a picture. Like the concept as well as the execution.

I really like "Shadows". That is one compelling image.

I love "Shadows" as well. I like the foreground streaks of light between their legs (negative shadows?) that mimic the high-rise in the background, and of course converge on the group's focus of attention, which makes for an intriguing mystery (if you hadn't told us, lol).

I think you just made my own d300 jealous :)
