My Glorious Comeback!

I have been very busy lately (getting laid off of work :cry )... BUT! It has given me some time to get out and shoot! I wanted to share some of the work I have been doing the last few weeks while unemployed.
I did my first paid gig last weekend at an AutoCross event in Eugene Oregon. The money I made barely covered my expnses to get down there, but at least it was a free trip. A friend of mine even gave me a ride in his new vette around the track!
Enjoy!
I wish I would have noticed how dirty the lens was before I starting shooting I rented a 100-400 L and it was REALLY dirty... I guess you live and learn
This shot was taken with manual focus... I screwed up the focusing, but rather enjoy the result... It sort of suggest "Oops... I guess I knocked that cone down" :dunno
I think he won! Could use a crop, but I just threw it up for fun :thumb
Day 2 of my exciting weekend found me at Mt Hood Meadows, doing the two things I love best...
