Ever wonder where the wind comes from at night?

This was a venture that started when a friend said "I know where there is a windmill in a dark field...". For someone with a passion for night photography, that is all that is needed.

I am interested in your C&C. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Regards,

HFM

    Not a problem...

This is a stack of 40 three minute exposures combined with Image Stacker
    Camera is a Nikon D3
Lens is a Sigma 24-60mm @24mm stopped down to F4
    ISO 200
Windmill was light painted with a narrow focus beam flashlight for approximately 1 min in 6 of the exposures from the set

Anything else I can tell you?

    Thanks for looking.

Great image! The only suggestion I have is to look at cropping it at the bottom of the windmill, eliminating a lot of the featureless black at the bottom of the image.
