My wife was telling me about a large Eagle she spotted, so I went to the location to see if I could find it. I was not able to find the Eagle, but after a while out of the corner of my eye, I began seeing red......................

Nice images. The light was pretty harsh but it seemed to help bring out the detail in the deep red plumage and it also helped the eye stand out.

Great shots. I agree with the comments on the harsh lighting as it maybe lit the subject TOO good. I think some toning could bring down the highlights and increase the contrast some. I still don't have a cardinal shot like these in my portfolio so I am jealousiloveyou.gif
