While at yellowstone in July I captured a few rainbow shots at the lower falls of the Yellowstone Grand Canyon, this is my take on the Rainbow.

It's hard to see the rainbow lelt alone photograph it unless you use a good Polarizing filter C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Thanks for looking

Looks like it was a beautiful day! I love the colors of the rainbow and the overall look - it's almost like rainbow colored mist. Are those second two crops of a larger scene or were you in a different location than the first? Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks so much,

I put the 1st shot up to give an overall perspective of the falls, the 2nd two images are from the following morning when I went back to capture the rainbow.

The 1st image was captured using a 24-70, the 2nd two images were captured with 70-200

I like this one the best. I am not much for rainbows, so the others didnt do it for me. This one is spectacular though.

Those are awesome. The trees really give you a sense of how big the falls must be. Good point on the polarizers, they can really accentuate rainbows that would otherwise be faint or invisible (something I've noticed when driving around with polarized sunglasses too).
