On a Pro account using Smugmug's pro lab, who collects and pays the sales taxes on each order?

Hi, for orders from people in the state of California, we charge and collect, and remit to the state, Sales Tax. We don't do it for any other states.

and Mark shouldn't have concerns about sales tac collection because he's not doing the selling. Correct?

In reality it is just like having your photos in an Art Gallery.....it is the gallery that collects and pays all taxes and then pays you a commission for the sales.

So even if YOU are in California it should be SmugMug that takes care of all sales taxes for any sales off your Smugmug Galleries.....all you should need to do is make sure you have mailed in a properly filled out tax for that can be downloaded from here..... http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf ........ and pay close attention to this set of instruction HERE ........
