Hi Everyone,

I've been using a custom PC based system for all of my processing. My main apps are Photoshop CS3 Master Collection and Neat Image. The Neat Image is a utility that does a great job in noise reduction. Well I purchased a Mac Pro with a 30" cinema display and have setup Photoshop on that but I'm still defaulting back to my other system because of the need for the noise reduction. Does anyone have any recommendations for a really good utility for noise reduction on a MAC? Thank you in advance.

Noiseware works really well as does Noise Ninja. They're both available for the Mac and both have free trials. I think they both have stand alone versions and PS plugin versions. I use Noiseware Pro plug in and it works great.

Andrew Rodney and I have have both commented favorably on Noiseware.

I used both Neat Image and Noise Ninja on my older PC, but I really like not having to fuss with camera body profiles, and ISO values, before de-noising. Noiseware rocks on my MAC!

Ditto -- no muss, no fuss. Easily in the top 10 of everything related to digital photography that I have acquired (and while I don't hate it, I had NoiseNinja first and switched).
