Got up EARLY this morning to go out to the wetlands and get some images. I was hoping for some macro bug-stuff and some rabbits, maybe even a coyote.

Well, I didn't quite get there early enough for the coyotes but I did see a lot of rabbits and even managed to snap a few pictures of some of them before they saw me an took off. (Also got some ant macros, but no dragonflys:cry)

Here's one I saw in time:

These were both shot handheld (obviously, I think) with the Sigma 170-500mm.

Cute cottontail. In your photo editor I bet you could take care of that red eye too. Nice exposure.

15524779-Ti.gif I agree with Stephen on the red eye issue. You have discovered the down side of picture taking and bunnies. It's difficult to get eye glint and no red eye. Two nice images ... thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I could. I left it because I liked it ne_nau.gif FOr a competition or something (though this picture is a little boring for a compettion), I'd definately remove it.

    THanks for looking! :D

Nicely taken shots. When I capture these fellows there always seems to be a reflection in the eyes.
