This Black tailed red sheet weaver took me a lot of attempts to get this shot. In the end it took a 150mm macro lense with a 2x converter and full set of kenko tubes. This little 1/4 inch spiders live in the grass and will drop and hide at the first sign of trouble. Took a couple of years but I think it was worth it.

Welcome to the Dgrin Forum Jim clap.gif

It sure is a brilliant RED, you'd think it would be hard for it hide being that colour.

You got pretty close with your combination of lens and extensions.

We hope you enjoy the forum and all its many sections.
Heaps of really great thread throughout the entire forum await you.

Thank you for sharing Jim, hope you will continue to post more thumb.gif
