First Shots with new Lens!!

Bikini Shoot!

Just picked up the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L Non-IS

And here is the results of the test run!! Im very Pleased!!

    the second shot is really rather pleasing - I can't really pinpoint why, I think it's her smile, the pose, angle & light are also good (a bit too much sky though)

    The first I don't care for - she's covering her mouth and lying there looks just plain uncomforable. Still nice colours & light though.

    I just rented the 70-200 2.8 IS and I TOTALLY know what you are talking about- yay for amazing bokeh!

    (I had to rent before I bought since it weighs like 4 lbs)

    Now, as to your shots, I agree with the other poster- In #1 I feel sorry for her tummy and arms. #2 looks great, but I am just wishing she was in the shade a bit more.

    First shots
    That is the best lens in my arsenal no questions asked.
    The shot is a good first start. She needed a bit of fill flash in the 2nd, but I think you wanted to show us the beauty of the lens.
