Met a new friend

There were two chicks in the nest that kept looking over the edge at me but the light was getting so bad I couldn't get a decent shot of them, I'll be going back tomorrow if the light is good.

    Very cool Ed. I love owls. It's a nice shot with a good choice for composition.

    Is it a Great Horned, or a Long Eared?

    We should really only take photographs between 5am-6am & 5pm-7pm. That has beautiful colour.

    I've hardly seen any owl in the wild, never mind one in a nest! clap.gif

    Nice shot! Love the warm light.

    Interesting how the owl blends in with the nest too.
