Pt5 of 5 weeks in Vietnam - Nha Trang
Ahhhh Nha Trang what can I say, its a 10 hour overnight bus ride from Hoi An with several stops for a stretch along the way. This was supposed to be the 'relax on the beach' part of our holiday, a few days in the sun sitting on the beach etc etc.
Well the special weather that had followed us so far, came to Nha Trang as well, so apart from being a little warmer (just) it was still wet and very windy.
From our breakfast on a beach side cafe we spied a cable car way off in the distance, without enquiring further we hired a cab and headed to the end we could see.
Its 3.5 klms long and about 60mtrs up at the highest point.
Looking back at the port where we've come from
Turns out it takes you to a theme park island called Vinpearl.
and with the special weather they were having it was practically empty, the only thing really operating was the underwater aquarium.
The entrance to a club on the island
and exit
So after a walk around an empty theme park, we headed back to the cable car and the mainland
So over a bottle of red and a check of the weather online we decided to cut our losses and fly direct to Saigon where the weather would definitely be warm!
Thanks for taking a gander, feel free to comment or critique!
Will post some pics from Saigon shortly.:thumb

It's good to see how far Vietnam has come from my time there. I've enjoyed your series.
