OK. The seagulls are out. The park is underwater (flooded) where I took that
pic.
So, how about this. I made these two steel flowers out of some scrap pipe
fittings at work. Some of you may know that I made a sculpture for my wife
a few years back. (the one from the Sony Challenge) My wife loves to
garden, that's why I made flowers.

Took this shot though a tree branch to give it some life. I think I would have
to place them with a better background to make it turn out for the challenge.

PS I wanted to paint them, she wants them to rust. Gee, I wonder who won?

Another shot from today is from Como Park in Saint Paul.
It's a hallway in the new visitor's center.
The horizon is not cockeyed, this was taken at 18mm with a 18-200mm lens.

you're makin' me green with envy over here. I wish I knew how to sculpt metal. ohhh, the things I would do! those rock!

I wonder if a closer shot of them might fit the challenge better? I love the shot as it is, though for sure. :D

Thanks DF. The sculpture wasn't that tough. It's just some leftover scrap
    from work.

We went on a weekend trip for a sorta family reunion. (my wife's side)
I went for a little drive and found these sandhill cranes wandering about.

When I took this picture I saw something that I had seen many times before
in science class at school. If only I would have checked the white balance
before taking the pic. Oh well, It looks good in B&W.

    Evolution.

Thanks Angelo. Personally, I really like the look of the first coaster shot.
It was a dull overcast day, and because of that, I decided to try b&w. If the
sun had been out, I probably would have just left it as a color pic.
So now I have something else to do every time I process pics.

    Thanks again for looking.
