I need to reprocess this image to rid it of the ghosting around their arm areas, but am curious as to what you all think about the overall mood of it.

Comments and Critique PLEASE?:D

I like the overall look..maybe needs a little more contrast in my eyes/monitor. The guy's pose looks a little forced to me but it is not that bad.

    Jeff,

I'm not sure I can put my finger on it exactly, but I get a feeling of wistfulness from this shot, not a sense of new beginnings. Maybe it's the toning or the empty beach or the combination of the two. ne_nau.gif Do you have a color version you could post?

    Oh wow.. this is scrumptious...

I like it just the way it is, and would be proud if it were mine...

I actually feel "neverending" as if they have a long road ahead together into the sunset (not a bad thing for marraige) thanks to the angle you shot of the beach. I agree with Richard also, would like to see it in color to compare and consider processing options.

This is only slightly desatuarated....it is a very monochromatic scene.....but not a monochromatic photo. It isn't a conversion.

I like the conversion and the soft touch but the ghosting is distracting to me.

    Maybe needs black and white
i like the posing and the ghosting doesn't bother me but the color does - it's off enough that I'd be playing with levels and curves and contrast.
Or I'd sepia tone it or go direct to black and white.

    Who me? Tease?

    Nevah!!!

There was an issue with this image besides the ghosting that I mentioned, and I was curious how noticable it was. So far no one noticed, but I am still going to rework it. I think it has mega potential!

I am uploading a handful to my site right about NOW!:D

    Soon Angie!
