You 'otter' be in pictures

These were taken at mid-day and the light was very harsh, but I grabbed what I could and did my best. I am hoping to get back to the area and find these guys again under better light.

All taken with the 1D MkIII and 500 f/4L IS, hand held. I had to stand tall to shoot over the cat tails and the IS was a blessing. I was a lot shakier than I would have liked to be with the weight of this combo.

Great series! Otters can be difficult to expose, but yours are spot on even with the harsh light of midday. Well done.

Thanks, Glenn. Actually, they were a lot of fun. They kept looking to see what was causing the shutter noise and often started to approach me. Unfortunately, I've been back a couple of times but not found them again.
