Good Evening Folks,
Could one of the experts please identify this bird ? The shot was taken at the National Harbor site in Prince Georges County, MD on the Potomac river.
Thank you very much and have a good evening :D

Looks in bad shape, but I'd say a Mockingbird. Front view not the best for an ID of such a bird.

Good Evening Don and thanks for your response thumb.gif
The bird was about 300' away and I used a 1.4x with my 70-200 4.0, then cropped it a bit more. If I had a 400 5.6 w/ the 1.4x, then it would have had better detail, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case :cry
Thanks again and have a good evening :D

It's a northern mockingbird for sure. It's our state bird. I see them every day in huge numbers. :D

Good Morning Stephen and thanks for your response thumb.gif
Now that we know what it is, I think it's time that I invest in the 400 5.6 to get a few better shots mwink.gif
Thanks again and have a good day :D
