My stats page says I have uploaded almost 17 million photos! (16,777,215 to be exact)

This is obviously an error. What does this number mean?

Hmmm . . . mine reads - Photos uploaded: 16,777,215 as well . . . must be reporting all the photos uploaded to Smugmug?

Must be...Global stats mixed in with personal stats some how. Not a biggee...just odd to see in your stats page.

Yeah, I mentioned this about a week ago. It's a known bug. Don't sweat it; it'll go away.

I don't think that many people have a whole lotta faith in the SM stats.

Google Analytics and StatCounter are far more reliable (IMHO).

BTW Peter Lyons, I just browsed your galleries and I feel compelled to say that you have the best friggin job/business on the planet. If you ever need an assistant, just let me know and I'll be right there.

That number is 2^24 (2 to the 24th power) minus 1.

In a database it's equivalent to an unsigned medium int. Likely, the page is displaying the MAX number available, instead of how many photos you actually have.

It's also the number of possible RGB colors in a 24 bit color system, I think. It seems to be a very popular number.
