Those who don't know about the Oregon Country Fair often mistakenly think dusty midways, carnies luring you to the nickle toss, amusement rides, etc.

It's none of that.

Lot's of great natural foods, music, vaudville, half naked hippies, marching bands, stupid human tricks, all on a forest path.

Checked out your website. That is not like any county fair I have seen. Sure looks like a lot of fun and terrific photo opportunities. Ya'll sure have some strange lookin' people in Oregon though ... lol.

wonderful shots! I have to agree with LadyTX. Not something you usually see down in Texas. The shots make you feel as though you're right there.

I'm often surprised at how many of my friends here in Oregon have never heard of it but that has a lot to do with most Portlanders being recent transplants anyway.

I think all of the shots were at 1600ISO with bright glass (35 f/1.4L, 85 f/1.2L, 135 f/2.0L). No flash or artificial light of any sort.
