She works with my wife... and cuts my hair

I'm not very experienced at either taking or processing portraits, so I'd like some feedback in this one. Feel free to be critical.

I snapped this in a not-so-well-lit mexican pub/eatery with my V1 and F32X bounced from a yellowish ceiling. This is a 0.5MP crop from a 5MP frame, so very agressively cropped. I had to do some color balancing to restore the skintones to somewhere near normal.

The title is true. She has training as a hairdresser, but works in a physiotherapy clinic with my wife as her full-time job. She still cuts hair "on the side".

so much of portraiture is about the eyes, eh? her eyes are not flattering here, jerry - too squinty. give it another go, nice color and exposure though deal.gif

Yeah... that's her flirty, sexy look, I think mwink.gif

But I know what you're saying. Eyes, for the most part, do make a portrait - I agree.

    Thanks for the feedback, Andy.
