A few from the MidOhio AMA races last weekend. Nikon D300, Nikon 70-200 f2.8 with 1.7 extender. Had a great time.

    That first one is....PHENOMENAL!!!!

    Just Outstanding! Obviously the 2.8 + ext. was razor sharp. I imagine this (#1) is a crop....how close were you exactly?

    I'd say it was about 30ft. I cropped it down from 12 megapixal to about 4. He was moving so fast around that turn, I had trouble keeping him in the view finder. Photo shot at 1/320, f11, at a focal length of 135mm

    Yeah that first one stands out! wish I was that biker so I could have that shot! nice work, obviously the others are outstanding as well!

    After seeing these - I think I may be having a second look at at a 1.7x! These are great!
