125 Second Daytime exposure.

I have a new toy. A B+W ND-110 Filter. I purchased it because I love the long exposure shots Tom K. does during daylight.

I took a last minute trip to the Lake District in the UK today and took a few shots. Here is one of the examples. Please bear in mind that this is my very first attempt and it's darn tough to get the correct exposure :)

As the filter is 77mm and I don't actually yet own a lens of such diameter I had to attach my lens hood which has a 58mm thread on one end and a 77mm thread on the other to my regular 18-55 kit lens. The lowest focal length I could get before the lens hood caused vignetting was 24mm. CC's welcome.

    Thank you :). heh, I'd recommend them. Put ND-110 into Flickr. Some stunning images.

    You did a great job for your first attempt...love the coloring of the rocks in that 2nd shot and that silky water is outstanding...very well done.
