combining 2 LR catalogs

How do I combine two LR catalogs, without the develop settings getting lost?

Also, is there a recommended max number of images suggested by adobe somewhere? or can I just keep going?

    You open one and you use the 'Import from Catalog...' dialog from under Menu/File.

    Navigate t the second Catalog and 'Voila'.

    Jeff Schewe has a catalog with over 55,000 images on a 1 Tb drive.

    You getting close to that yet?:D

    I have about 22.7K images in my Catalog at present. There are those with 100K Catalogs and those with 50K+.

    For Jeff it helps that he runs afast Intel-Quad Core, as I recall, maxed out.
