Shooting has been slow of late. The daily thunderstorms, high temps and harsh light of the Florida summer sun have limited production of images. This coupled with the fact that many birds take a summer vacation (with the exception of the egrets and ospreys)......has made for slim pickin's and limited images.

I worked ups some images and reworked others and will continue to do so until things pick up again in another couple months.

The usual suspects. Best viewed on my monitor...or on a Wide screen ...wide gamut 1920 x 1200 monitor in Adobe RGB on an appropriate color space recognizable web browser. :scratch :D

Thanks for looking.

    Hey Mike,

Now you've gone and put my egrets to shame!

Birds landing are all so cool ... some are so graceful while others look like they're are gonna crash land ... but they are all good.

    Very nice work! thumb.gif

Well they look okay on my crappy old Sony 23" at 1920 x 1200.mwink.gifrofl

As for the browser...I had and dumped FF3...back to FF2. Too many add-ons that I like don't work with 3 yet. So color space recognition will have to wait.

I was using FF3 for a bit...but despite having color space recognition activated..things looked weird...or at least different. I did a screen capture of the same image viewed on different browsers and PSCS2 and they all looked different. Says something about color space, monitors, browsers and eyes. Laughing.gif. Kind of difficult to comment on color/saturation etc. with so many different variables. Have to take the comments with a grain of salt as well. Don't comment on color/contrast/brightness too often either. WHo's to say what is correct. Composition now... hehe

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I know this...but for some reason tend to think that my setup is correct and shoot my mouth off anyway!:D Thanks for pointing this out, Mike.
