Not a great day for shooting. Overcast, rainy. But I did manage to
catch an American Avocet over at the duck pond.

    Great action shot. rolleyes1.gif I had a pic of a Great Blue Heron doing the same thing but hesitated to post it. :D This could be the start of something.

    Good shot, Ian! Of the Avocet. I got some birds yesterday, but have never seen one of those that I know of.

    What lens did you use? If you all post these photos of THIS, please post your lens as someone was asking which lens would capture such action.

    I think that person already bought a lens, but someone else might want a lens to get the same effect. I use a 300 prime w/extender. I have one of those shots. Egret, though. Not sure where it is, if I see it, I will post.
