Great shots of a beautiful bird. I saw a bunch of green jays on SPI while I was there, but none of them turned out as well as yours. I found them difficult to shoot.

Thanks Ira, but don't feel too left out. Y'all have some great birds like limpkins and Snail Kites that I can not see here in Texas. mwink.gif

Thanks Dave. Jays in general are really fun to photograph. I just wish they weren't such bullies. BTW, these green jays don't seem to have the bully characteristics of the blue jays and the scrub jays.

Now that's what I call colourful birds. Have never heard of or seen one before. Good work, Stephen.

It's funny. I've been to the island many times but I have never seen a green jay there. However, if I cross the bay I see them all over the place. ne_nau.gif Thanks for the comments.

Thank you so much. That would be a stretch. :D They barely make into Texas. One has to travel to far south Texas to see them.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Oh yeah, that is where I was for some of the pics. I thought you meant the island proper. :D
