Renaissance Festival (Comment Away)

Took a trip to the Renaissance Festival today. I hadn't been in such a long time and this time, it was a chance to play with my camera. Unfortunately it was very overcast, so lighting was not on my side. I worked with what I had.

Here are a few for now.

Let me know what you think. Good, Bad, Ugly?
Everyone was in costume to fit the era. It wasn't til after I took her picture that she finally smiled... grrrrr

    Some very cool shots at what looks to be a fun event. My favorite is the first one, I see that expression far too often in Orange County, you think that the Festival Spirit would take it away for a day..


    Where is the festival held? I would like to go check it out.

    Actually, the overcast gave you some softer light. It can be a good thing. The first girl looks like she's about to kick your a--! rolleyes1.gif

    You will have a blast. My Fiance (will be Wife by next year) and I, plan to dress the part next year. Should be even more fun :)

    hmmm... wonder if they had a 20d back in those times... (hope to have one by then :) )

    Actually... I was more worried about the guy that walked up right after i clicked. I had to use my ninja skills and fade into the crowd :)
