Confused about "Search" results?

I'm a little confused about the search results when I search within my smugmug images?

I've tagged a bunch of my pictures with keywords describing the picture and who is in it. If I look at some of the images I see all my keywords displayed. If I then go to the SmugMug search box and type in one of those keywords and search on it, I only get partial results.

However, if I then go into "Keyword Search" and choose the same keyword, I get full results.

For example, if I search for "Joe Schmoe" (just made up a term here) I may only get "10 results." However, if I click on the keyword for "Joe Schmoe" i get "27 results."

Why is there a difference?

It should also be noted that I just added the keywords to those 17 results that were most likely missing. Is there a delay between when the search results pick up the new keyword?

Couple of things:

1) Link to your SmugMug site and actual example, please? I'd be happy to take a look.

2) Our search index may take a little while to catch up, yes. On most days you'll find we index new keywords in minutes or a few hours tops.

1) http://leftquark.smugmug.com/ -- try searching on "Harrison Turner" -- only 10 results. But if I click on the keyword for "harrison turner" then you get 27 results (http://leftquark.smugmug.com/keyword/harrison%20turner#349097701_oWBsb).

2) Maybe if I wait a couple hours it'll re-index . It's been about an hour now and still no luck.

After reading this, searching on "Harrison Turner" with quotes instead of: harrison turner (without quotes) turns up the correct 27/28 results.

Looks like it's a non-issue -- just my inability to learn how to search! Sorry about that.
