In my town phosphate mines are big business but once their done they have to return the land to its natural state. They donated just over 1,000 acres to the county and turned it into a park for fishing and camping. The park is only open on the weekends and closes at 5:00 in the afternoon. But my buddy is the caretaker so I get to cruise around until I run out of light, this was my second attempt my first yielded almost no wildlife. I think I'm going to frame the bird shot. These were all shot with my 300 2.8 IS with a 40D. The bird was with a monopod but the deer shot was handheld 1/125 at 5.6!!!
40D, 20D, 17-55 2.8 IS, 100 2.8, 70-200L 2.8 IS, 300L 2.8 IS, Plus a ton of strobist gear and studio lights.
