little league photography

today, was team photo day :D the same pro's been doing it for years - he finally went digital this year! now, he shoots with a 20d.

i always let trevor pick out whatever he wants from the pro's catalog - usually it's a plaque, lots of trading cards, some 8x10s and 5x7s... all in? about $50

all straight from the camera jpgs, with canon 20d, iso 800, available light (don't want to interfere with a pro's lighting gear!) and canon 50 f/1.4 from waaaay back so that i'm not in the way.

    He's so cute
    in that outfit! Looks like the pro knows what he's doing and made the transition to digital quite easily.

    The expression on the team members is priceless!

    I thought I'd be looking at "game shots" and almost didn't look... but I'm glad I did.

    How do you, as a wonderful photographer, put up with these team photo days? I find them frustrating....paying for photos that aren't near as good as the ones I take myself.

    And I KNOW you do much better in your "game photos" than this guy does with his props.

    The more pics I see of Trev, the more I feel sorry for him. He's the spittin image of you lol3.gif And Nancy is so pretty too, what a tragedy.....lol
