This weekend we in north west Ohio have been "treated" to a semi rare spring snow storm.

A friend called me this morning and asked if I wanted to go out and shoot. I agreed and went to pick her up. We decided to got to Wildwood Metropark. It is a park built around the Vanderbuilt Manor House Estate.

It is a large brick mansion with an old english garden. There were some beautiful trees blossoming, and seeing the blossoms with snow on them is a bit rare.

This wonderfull tree was planted right in the corner by the house.

The gardens are not quite in bloom yet, which is a good thing because I doubt the snow would have been good for the flowers. The gazebo structure is covered with Ivy in the summer which makes a nice shady place to sit.

This little shed looked inviting in the snow.

Thanks for walking with me.

Lovely shots. That snow looks like heavy, wet snow. I especially like the shot with the brick arch and the snow covered trees in the background- very pretty.thumb.gif
