My New Canon EOS 450D/ Rebel XSI
I have just purchased my new 450D (that's what its called over here in NZ!) with twin IS lens kit (EF-S 18-55mm IS & EF-S 55-250mm IS) I have only had the camera a couple of days but here are some images I managed take - people looking at purchasing this camera might be interested in having a look. This is my first DSLR and previous cameras were 3 x Kodak compacts & for the past year or so the Canon S5IS which I still have.

These images were taken with just the EF-S 55-250mm IS Lens & have not been retouched at all. Nothing special as I did not have a lot of time where I was able to sit/stand and spend a lot of time fiddling with the settings as am recovering from a major hip operation but am very happy with the camera. Next I would like to purchase a couple more lenses, but that wont be for a while so I intend to get the best out of the kit lenses! I am a great believer that the skills of the photographer are what makes great photos
I have also just started my diploma in photography which has been a goal of mine for many years so I am very excited!

A few of these demonstrate an interesting eye or view on the world - I like them.
Others have technical issues; CWB, exposure, that sort of thing. You studies will show you where and, more importantly how, improvements can be made.
I really like your B&W tree - that's well done!
