programs that are created and ran in Macromedia? I have a small simple program that I Downloaded and I would like to make a few changes to it. Not to resell or anything just for my own use. Is there any editing programs out there that are free and not to over the top?

Thanks in advance,

Tim

If it was done in Flash, chances are that it will not be editable. Once the creator of the program creates the executable, you can't do anything to it.

How can I find out? Is there a editor that I can recreate it but with a few different parameters? It just a small simple score keeper sorta thing.

There is such thing as a flash decompiler, but they don't do the best job, for the most part. I haven't delved into it much though, so I can't really help you beyond that. I think they usually cost money too.

This is pretty much right on. If its a simple thing, it would take you the same amount of time to learn enough flash to do it on your own as it would to decompile it to anything reuseable.
