    Hey twisted, I have been researching the d40 and am about to pull the trigger on a new one. I am intrigued by buying this. Is there any problems? Also, as a newsterby, I am wondering what is the included lense used for? I am still learning... Further, what will I be missing for not having the d40 kit lense?
    Any problems? Drops, blemishes etc. Have you had any work done on it? How old is it?

    I must say I am tentative to buy a digital cam used, but (like most) I am on a budget!

    Thanks for the fast responses. At that price I am leaning toward new as amazon sells new for $468 for the kit... granted thats with kit lense and w/o memory.

    Hey Twisted (and others trying to follow along) - no need to have 3 threads on the same topic. I've merged them all into this one. You'd be wise to do some editing/cleanup in the first post here and make your current sale items clear (price, etc).

    Please PM in the future if you have issues like this... 3 FS threads all sharing some common equipment with 3 different titles is just a train wreck.
