Not pretty Cat

I have this beautiful cat that's a shiny gray....

But whenever I take pictures, I can't seem to extrude that beauty - she just ends up looking like some alien freak. Why is that?

    Try not using your flash, and try a different angle.

    She may not be lightening up with the facial expression, but I think I'm capturing her better. Thanks for the tips cj99si.

    Almost as if the cats hate me or something...could it be that they're not amused having the camera pointed at them all the time? :D

    It looks like she has a Russian Blue very close in her family tree. Same colour and face, but a bit shorter and without the green eyes. Good looking cat iloveyou.gif

    The black one looks just like my old cat Dinkytoy!

    Your black kitty is just lovely. The photo is of my blue-eyed cat, Sammy. He has these big clear blue eyes and weighs about 20 pounds. He's more like a golden retriever than a cat! I processed this photo for a the pet portrait challenge at www.dpchallenge.com and he did quite well which made me happy!
