Any idea why this gallery has a smugmug.com url instead of a randya.smugmug.com or alexanderfamilyphotos.com url? thanks.

That gallery probably has hide owner set to yes. If you want your url and customizations then it needs to be set to hide owner = no.

it does have hide owner set to 'yes'.
